Wheel – has true non-overloading horsepower characteristics. The wheel is based on backward inclined airfoil shaped blades and is one piece molded construction of vinyl ester resin composite laminate with ASTM E-84 Class I flame spread.

Housings – are fabricated of polyester resin composite laminate having ASTM E-84 Class I flame spread. The housings of sizes 12 through 36 are fully rotatable, large sizes are fixed discharge. The housing inlet is removable allowing access to the fan wheel for inspection or removal. All internal bolting is 300 series stainless steel encapsulated in FRP laminate.

Fan Base – epoxy coated heavy gauge steel construction. A steel inlet stand is required on size 18 and larger and on all fans where vibration isolation is required.

Fan Shafts – turned, ground and polished steel, keyed both ends. A fiberglass sleeve covers the shaft in the air stream.

Bearings – are heavy duty, self-aligning, pillow block type.

Construction – 22HB fans are available in Class I, II and III and 100% and 66% width, single width, single inlet design.

Shaft Seal – is neoprene in a fiberglass housing and is a non-gas tight seal where the fan shaft exits the housing.

Sizes – 22HB fans are sized based on wheel diameter. Available sizes 12”, 15”, 18”, 22”, 24”, 27”, 30”, 33”, 36”, 40”, 44”, 49”, 54” and 60” nominal wheel diameter.

Arrangements – #9 and #1 plus arrangements #10, #4 and #8

Weather Cover – epoxy coated steel covers motor, shaft, bearings, sheaves and belts.

Drive Guards – epoxy coated steel slotted to allow air circulation. Encloses drive, shaft and bearings.

Ridgibrade – abrasion resistant coating.

Electrical Grounding – includes the use of carbon filled resin gel on all air stream surfaces and grounding straps.
